Abstract. The article attempts to analyze the psychological and philosophical nature of education and the continuous activity of the cooperative sector of the economy in Russia. Attention is drawn to the fact that it is based on the historically established mentality of the Russian rural population under the influence of political, social, religious, geographical and climatic factors throughout the centuries of struggle for existence, survival and desire for well-being in the difficult conditions of the inhabited territories.
