Abstract. The paper considers the digital transformation of tourism activities. Due to the development of information technology, the economy as a whole and the tourism industry in particular are transitioning to a digital basis. This allows us to provide a higher-quality travel product to the consumer in a more dynamic way. Currently, digitalization of tourism activities is taking place in its various fields and significantly stimulates this activity. Digitalization helps travel companies to raise business process management to a new qualitative level. The use of digital technologies in tourism increases productivity, which affects time, money and human resources. There are many online travel management and planning services in the travel industry. For example, you can list services such as «Yandex.Travel», RUSSPASS, etc. These are services where you can plan the entire trip cycle: buy tickets, book a hotel, book a car, etc. In order to support the tourism industry and domestic tourism, the National Travel Portal of Russia, Travel.rf, was organized. According to the Strategy for the Development of Tourism in the Russian Federation until 2035, it is planned to create an online platform integrated with external data sources to create a better customer experience. Services and mobile applications can be developed on the basis of the platform, with the help of which the tourist product will be implemented and popularized. The tourism industry works with such data arrays as user profiles and preferences, changes in transport schedules, current carrier prices, weather conditions, geopolitical events, and hundreds of other indicators. Proper processing of this information allows you to create relevant travel products, improve customer service, and increase business efficiency.
