Abstract. The rapid entry of digital technology into all areas of activity is making significant changes to the rules for the conduct and development of the pharmaceutical industry. That is, companies that have fallen into a digital wave have understood how, with the help of new technologies, it is possible to modernize production processes in order to increase the influence of their company on the market, they are among the leaders in digitalization and are now examples of best practices for colleagues in the workshop. The article considers the Kaluga cluster of pharmaceuticals, biotechnology and biomedicine, which is one of the innovative clusters of the Russian Federation, from the point of view of the digitalization forge: its current state, capabilities and prospects.
