Abstract. This article examines the social infrastructure of higher professional education institutions. It analyzes the development of social infrastructure at higher professional education institutions in the Republic of Tajikistan, the structure of gross domestic product (GDP), the dynamics of paid services, and the growth trends in the number of higher professional education institutions and their students. It also highlights existing gaps in the educational services sector. It was revealed that the development of education, particularly the role and importance of higher education institutions offering vocational training in the republic, is a key priority. A comparative analysis of the level of demand for social services provided to employees of enterprises and organizations at their workplaces is currently essential for assessing the performance of social infrastructure facilities. An analysis and assessment was conducted of the availability of social infrastructure facilities at the Dushanbe Higher Professional Education Institution (HPE) as of January 1, 2025, as well as the level of demand for social services by HPE employees and their satisfaction rates for 2015–2024. It was found that low satisfaction with the services provided by social infrastructure facilities is due to the importance of the needs themselves, as well as the financial capacity of enterprises and organizations in the service sector and its segments. The results show that, during the period under review, the cited higher education institutions do not allocate funds for mobile phone use, food expenses, or transportation of faculty and staff to their workplaces. Furthermore, no pension supplements are provided. They do not offer discounts or benefits on the purchase of goods, services, housing improvements, or loans. Insufficient attention is paid to organizing transportation to the workplace, organizing meals, and no benefits or discounts are provided on the purchase of goods (works, services), nor on loans.
