Abstract. The article presents the material of a Scientific and practical seminar, which was held on December 28, 2021 at the Russian Academy of Sciences on the development of eco-oriented additional professional education. The article outlines the problems, goals and objectives, organizers and participants of the Seminar. The article summarizes the material of the Seminar participants, which was reported and discussed at the Seminar in the interests of identifying priority areas of additional vocational education; identifying the main partners and possible areas of mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of additional vocational education; developing optimal organizational schemes for the development of additional vocational education, taking into account available resources; choosing the most modern and relevant format and forms of training according to the programs of additional vocational education; determination of the prospective contingent of students according to the programs of additional vocational education; identification of priority needs in the field of personnel and logistical support of additional vocational education; development of an algorithm of actions for the preparation of these programs for implementation, taking into account the accumulated potential and achievements, domestic experience in this field. The material of the article contains the results of the discussion at the Seminar of current trends in the socio-economic development of Russia and civilizational development; current trends in the development of the market of educational services in the field of additional vocational education and the possibility of taking them into account in practice; problems and topical issues of practical activity in the field of additional vocational education; possible solutions in the field of development of additional vocational education, taking into account the accumulated experience potential and achievements, domestic experience in this field.
