Educational sovereignty as a tool for ensuring economic security

Abstract. The proposed scientific research addresses current scientific problems of the Russian educational environment in terms of ensuring the educational sovereignty of the country based on the application of the principle of lifelong education for a wide range of stakeholders. It is noted that in the conditions of sanctions restrictions in various sectors of the economy, continuous professional education, the main types of which are additional professional education and mentoring, ensure the achievement of national development goals based on the successful development of new knowledge, skills and competencies. Attention is focused on the fact that Russia’s current goal is to ensure high standards of education based on modern advanced technologies to achieve national development goals. According to the author, the modern world requires constant improvement of knowledge, skills and abilities aimed at achieving goals for the effective development of business entities. As part of this study, education costs were calculated in different countries, the level of education of the young population was analyzed by gender, and the number of graduate students by funding sources was also considered. The analysis process revealed unresolved systemic and industry risks that directly affect the process of ensuring the country’s educational sovereignty. Conclusions are formulated that only new knowledge, skills and competencies can truly ensure the educational sovereignty of the country as a tool for ensuring economic security. The significance of the research results is that those responsible for making decisions in the field of the educational environment can use them to improve the quality of educational services and the involvement of young scientific personnel in solving national development goals.
