Abstract. In the modern business landscape, the importance of logistics cannot be exaggerated. It plays a key role in ensuring economic security and increasing the operational efficiency of enterprises. This study is devoted to the study of the strategic importance of logistics in the financial and economic activities of an enterprise. Timely and efficient delivery of goods and services helps maintain smooth business operations. Building optimal supply chains reduces costs, improves inventory management and increases operational efficiency, which ultimately leads to increased profit for the enterprise. Understanding the role of logistics in economic security and efficiency is critical to effective business management. The publication analyzes how optimization of logistics processes can help not only reduce costs, but also increase business resilience to external and internal threats. Various components of an enterprise’s logistics system are examined, including inventory management, transportation, warehousing, and supply chain management. Explores how integration and synergy between these components can lead to significant operational improvements. Particular attention is paid to the use of modern information technologies and automation, which allows not only to increase the speed and accuracy of operations, but also to significantly increase the transparency of the entire logistics process. Attention is paid to the issues of risk management in logistics, the task of ensuring continuity of supply and adaptation to a changing external environment. The study emphasizes that strategic logistics management is not only a tool for optimizing current operations, but also a means of building long-term competitive advantages that ensure economic security and stable growth of the enterprise.
