This article examines the application of membrane technologies for the regeneration of waste oils, discussing their advantages and potential for industrial use. The focus is on the characterization of different types of membranes and their application in filtration and separation processes. Membrane technologies make it possible to effectively remove mechanical impurities, water, oxidized products and other contaminants, which significantly improves the quality of the final product. The advantages of using membranes include high selectivity, energy efficiency and the ability to carry out the process at low temperatures. The article describes various types of membranes, such as ultrafiltration, nanofiltration and reverse osmosis, as well as the features of their use in various stages of the regeneration process. Particular attention is paid to the study of the influence of various parameters on the efficiency of the membrane process, such as pressure, temperature, concentration of pollutants and type of membrane material. The article also discusses the economic aspects of using membranes in regeneration processes. The costs of installing and operating membrane systems are analyzed, as well as their payback and impact on reducing operating costs in the long term. Examples of successful application of membrane technologies in various industrial enterprises are given, which confirms their effectiveness and potential for widespread use. The conclusion of the article highlights the need for further research in the development of new membrane materials and optimization of regeneration processes to increase their efficiency and environmental friendliness. The use of membrane technologies in the regeneration of waste oils is a promising area that can significantly improve product quality and reduce environmental impact.

Keywords: membrane technologies; waste oil regeneration; filtration; separation; economic efficiency; environmental safety

Gudz Aleksandr Serveevich Irkutsk National Research Technical University, Irkutsk, Russia E-mail: a.gudz_89@mail.ru Konovalov Nikolai Petrovich Irkutsk National Research Technical University, Irkutsk, Russia E-mail: knp@ex.istu.edu RSCI: https://elibrary.ru/author_profile.asp?id=691849 SCOPUS: https://www.scopus.com/authid/detail.url?authorId=7003385223 Abstract.
