This study is devoted to the theoretical analysis and systematization of key drivers of structural changes in the global economy of the 21st century through the prism of an integrative approach that combines the achievements of various economic schools within a single conceptual model. The article considers the patterns of evolution of global economic systems from the industrial paradigm to the digital economy, analyzes the mechanisms of formation of new centers of economic power and transformation of the international division of labor. Particular attention is paid to the study of the role of artificial intelligence, digital technologies and climate change as fundamental factors determining the direction of structural shifts in the global economy. The article analyzes the evolution of conceptual approaches to understanding structural transformations from classical theories of economic development to modern concepts that take into account the multifactorial nature of global changes and the need for national economies to adapt to new challenges. The study demonstrates that effective adaptation to structural transformations requires not only the modernization of production systems, but also a radical revision of institutional mechanisms, the education and training system, as well as the formation of new approaches to managing economic processes in the face of increasing uncertainty. The results indicate the need to develop integrative approaches in economic science that allow for a comprehensive analysis of the relationship between technological, institutional and social aspects of structural transformations to ensure sustainable development of the global economy in the long term.

Keywords: structural transformations; global economy; digitalization; artificial intelligence; international division of labor; economic cycles; technological structures; multipolarity; sustainable development; institutional changes; adaptation strategies

Khanumyan Artem Abgarovich Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, Moscow, Russia E-mail: khanumyan.artem@mail.ru Abstract.
