This article proposes a solution to a pressing scientific and practical problem concerning the automation and improved accuracy of component delivery within workshops using conveyor robots. The authors present a comprehensive approach that addresses the lack of methodological solutions for integrating analytical models with algorithms for the real-time manoeuvring of transport vehicles. Using the advanced simulation software AnyLogic, a spatial layout of a production area with eleven workstations and a network of paths for robots has been designed. Particular attention is paid to key technical and operational parameters (speed, acceleration, loading time and energy consumption parameters). Two objective functions are also proposed for the multi-criteria optimisation of the system’s operation, aimed at minimising time penalties for schedule violations and reducing the overall energy consumption of the fleet of automated transport vehicles. Based on a series of numerical experiments using the discrete-event simulation method, critical patterns have been identified regarding the influence of the size of the robot fleet and the line’s operating rate on the final equipment utilisation rate. Specific practical recommendations have been formulated for configuring the transport system for various operating modes of the assembly line. In conclusion, it is emphasised that the proposed simulation approach enables the adoption of well-considered infrastructure solutions and the effective reconfiguration of assembly systems without incurring actual physical costs or financial expenditure on full-scale testing.

Keywords: workshop; parts; delivery; robot; route; accuracy; model

Gaurgov Sergey Sergeevich Peter the Great Saint Petersburg Polytechnic University, Saint Petersburg, Russia E-mail: sergeygaurgov@gmail.com Ponomarev Alexander Vitalievich National Research University ITMO, Saint Petersburg, Russia E-mail: sasha-ponom@mail.ru Gladkov Nikita Vladimirovich Saint Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering, Saint …

[50,5

post-3644","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-issue-2-2026","category-article
["GET
