It is proved that working time is the most important resource of each organization at the present moment of economic development. Analysis of the working time using is carried out by the authors on the example of one of the retail network &#171;Magnit&#187;\u2019 stores, located in a large town in Sverdlovsk region. The authors analyzed the dynamics of the working time balance for three years, calculated the structure of non-attendance at work. A high share of non-attendance in connection with the employees\u2019 illnesses and with the administration\u2019 permission without salaries was revealed, non-attendance for these reasons was studied in more detail, the structure of such non-attendance by employees categories was determined. The authors calculated the utilization rate of the working time fund. Further, the authors analyzed the store employees\u2019 work and rest mode, determined the compliance of the store staff work schedule with the norms of the current labor legislation; a discrepancy was revealed. In order to streamline work schedules, it was suggested that the store switch to a 24-hour work schedule. The advantages of a round-the-clock mode for buyers, employees and owners are shown. The personnel work schedule is offered, the advantages of the proposed schedule are explained. The implementation of the proposed work schedule will allow the store to reduce the working time loss and improve work efficiency.
