Abstract. This article addressed some very important issues of collection, sorting, recycling, processing and disposal of waste. Given the facts of the magnitude of the problem in our country. The focus is on a huge load for the disposal and recycling of waste in the suburbs, outbound from the city. Attention is drawn to the numerous attempts of separate waste collection, separation, recycling and disposal. However, the picture reveals the many existing problems in this field and provides some suggestions for alleviating the situation of waste. This problem is very actual and extremely large scale, so the authors gave this problem in the year of the Environment of the Moscow region, special attention.
