Abstract. This article is dedicated to the calculation of harm to components of wild life in Russian Federation. Practice of methodologies use is reviewed for hunting resources, Red book species, other objects not related to hunting and fishing objects, as well as habitat and water biological resources. The article contains calculation examples based on real projects – hunting-commercial species types of birds and animals harm calculation to small size mammals, harm calculation depending on intensity of impact (disturbance factor). Harm calculation to water biological resources by withdrawal of spawning areas, destruction of phytoplankton and zooplankton during water intake, destruction of fish eggs and young species, benthos organisms and Red book species. Typical measures for the animal world protection are provided. Conclusion on necessity of indexation of harm calculation is done.
