Abstract. The article is devoted to the construction of a simulation model, namely a model of the system dynamics of the Russian tourism development strategy. The introduction substantiates the relevance of the research topic, defines the purpose and objectives of the research, and highlights the main criteria that the constructed model must meet. The relevance of the research topic is due to modern realities in the field of tourism, both external and internal. An object of simulation modeling was also highlighted, storage units were designated (containers for agents (tourists) who travel around Russia (Russia) or abroad (Foreign)), flows, parameters (for example, a parameter responsible for the number of direct flights from Moscow to other countries; a parameter responsible for the percentage of people whose visa expires, etc.), variables (including a dynamic variable) and assumptions of the system dynamics model. There is also a parameter responsible for the period of the simulation. To graphically indicate the connections between the parameters, a cognitive model was built; the description of the connections between the model parameters is summarized in a table. The system dynamics model was built in the AnyLogic simulation environment. For user convenience, a panel for changing the values of model parameters is presented. There are also buttons to start and stop the simulation and reset the results. The code for each of the buttons is presented, written in the Java programming language, since the AnyLogic modeling environment allows you to use this particular language to develop simulation models. A number of experiments were carried out on the model, the results of which are summarized in a table for convenience. The values of the accumulators were analyzed for various combinations of parameter values. The simulation results allowed us to conclude that the model is stable and the parameters are logically correct.
