Abstract. The expansion of environmental education and school education of these acute problems for our country is one of the urgent and important problems. By preserving our natural resources and their proper use will allow for many years to ensure the development of Russia.
The article deals with The specially protected natural areas of Russia on the example of Taldom district «crane homeland», the accumulated problems. Recently, nature has been suffering from forest fires.

The work on education of schoolchildren is aimed at explaining the importance of preserving the nature of our country.
