Abstract. In the Russian State University of Tourism and Service, bachelors are trained in the geo-information service profile of the training program for the academic undergraduate program. In the article, the experience of teaching on this program is consecrated. The contents of the program, the list of disciplines are determined. The main definitions of geoinformation service based on service, geoinformatics, spatial positioning, space monitoring are given. The main components of the geoinformation service are shown. Possible spheres of activity of graduates for the direction of service, the profile of geoinformation service are described.
