Transformation of the features of the implementation of economic security under the influence of the shadow economy

Abstract. The purpose of this work is to analyze the transformational processes occurring with the phenomenon of economic security, based on the impact of shadow economic activity. The author of this paper considers the definition of economic security from different positions to reflect the complexity and ambiguity of the phenomenon under consideration. At the same time, it was noted that the essence of economic security lies in the compliance of the results of economic activity with the national economic interests of the state as a whole. The paper considers the key types of indicators that allow assessing the level of economic security of the state, among them: general macroeconomic indicators, basic macroeconomic indicators, partial derivative indicators, private social indicators. The concept associated with indicators is threats, in the context of this scientific work, these are threats to the economic security of the state. The author considered the most probable and dangerous threats to the state economic security. A special place in this scientific work is occupied by the description of shadow economic activity. The author revealed a variety of approaches to the definition and study of shadow economic activity, which allows us to assert the multidimensional nature of the origin of this phenomenon. The paper notes that the shadow economy takes many forms, each of which in its own way has a negative impact on socio-economic processes, including economic security. At the same time, shadow economic processes are in a cyclical state, giving rise to new phenomena, which makes the fight against shadow economic activity difficult. At the end of this scientific work, the author described the negative consequences that arise in the event of the development of shadow economic activity, and also indicated the need for preventive measures by the state.
