Abstract. The transformation of the technological landscape and increasing turbulence in the external environment are prompting organizations to reconsider established approaches to the design of management structures. This study examines conceptual models and applied tools that define the development vector of management practices in the organizational systems of Russian and international companies. The methodological basis of the study consists of a systematic analysis of scientific literature, a comparative analysis of domestic and international experience, and a content analysis of Russian Federation regulations in the field of digital development and management. The systematization of theoretical approaches revealed a consistent shift from rigid bureaucratic configurations to adaptive forms of organizational design based on the principles of flexible, iterative management, distributed leadership, and data-driven decision-making. It was found that Russian organizations demonstrate a faster pace of implementing artificial intelligence tools into management processes, but lag behind their international peers in terms of structural flexibility and corporate governance maturity. The practical significance of the study lies in the potential for using the results in formulating organizational development strategies for industrial and service companies in the context of the transition to a «Data Economy» model.
