Abstract. This article presents the current norms of international trade both in the supranational and Russian legal field. With the ongoing restrictions associated with Covid-19, there is an urgent need to identify trends in supply chain transformation and digitalization of logistics in industry and commerce during the (post) pandemic period. The prospects for the use of digital technologies in supply chain management in the international, national, and regional aspects are outlined. The main problems of the development of logistics at the present stage are formulated and confirmed, considering the existing sanitary and epidemiological restrictions. A system of measures to improve the management of the supply chain system is proposed for discussion. Priority is given to the formation of a balanced and coordinated international trade security system based on digital logistics in a pandemic with all stakeholders. The authors have carried out a general and comparative analysis of the impact of the development program for foreign economic activity of the Russian Federation until 2030 on the formed logistic chains of foreign economic activity participants and assessed the economic security of foreign trade as a factor influencing the development of foreign economic activity in general.
