Abstract. Within the framework of the presented article, the author explores the issue of finding ways to minimize operational risks associated with the activities of personnel. The article presents several methods for assessing such risks, however, according to the author, one of the most effective methods is stress testing, which allows assessing a possible increase in risk. The article lists in detail the goals, principles and features of stress testing. In addition, the role of consolidated reporting on the level of operational risks in ensuring the economic security of the organization is analyzed. The author notes that this procedure allows you to track operational risks and analyze the factors affecting it over time. However, it must be understood that in the case of risks associated with personnel, they must be eliminated at the first stage, that is, their selection for a position. Many experts suggest using stress testing, the essence of which is to model the task that the candidate needs to solve. The behavior and actions of the candidate in this case are evaluated by a number of factors listed in the article. Based on the information received, the expert group makes a conclusion on each candidate and compiles a ranking list of candidates according to professionally important qualities. The article also simulates a situation, on the example of which the process of evaluating the actions of candidates is clearly considered. The methodology allows you to rank the list of candidates for various categories, as well as provide a report in the form of consolidated information in the context of individual criteria that are necessary for the employer. In the final part of the article, the author formulates a conclusion regarding the developed method for assessing and minimizing operational risks.
